Current Craves | Waiting for a sale ...

Waiting for a Sale ...
Morning all! How were all your weekends? Yes, it's Tuesday, but I took my three day weekend seriously and just chilled. On Sunday I actually went snow tubing with my family and an "extended" family of mine. It was the most fun I've had in a while just sliding down these big hills and dancing with the attendants who worked at the top so none of us froze! Yesterday I had no school thanks to President's Day but was forced awake early to help Mihai with his film (No one ever say I'm a bad girlfriend!)

ANYWHO-sville, I'm not really feeling writing a review today. I think I've written so many lately that I just want a change and something rambly, so how about a wish list? I love going on Polyvore, picking a theme, and just going wild with the product pictures! Today's theme will be "Things-I-Will-Get-But-Can't-Until-Sephora-Has-A-Sale". Hopefully you all got that, haha! In simple terms, it's a wish list of things I need and know I will get it, but I'm just waiting on a 20% coupon to magically arrive in my mail before I can go cuckoo bananas! So what exactly will I be getting? Let's see ...
  • Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Flush | On Valentie's Day my blogger friend Andrea from From Inside My Closet tweeted that Tarte was having a 50% off flash sale on their blushes. I was in school but grabbed my phone and instantly started trying to see if I could get my hands on some. Sadly, it didn't work and I missed out on the sale, but not before spotting this beauty and instantly thinking, I NEED THAT. I don't have anything, at all, like it in my small collection of blushes and when I saw Andrea's swatches, I knew I'd have to have it!
  • Urban Decay NAKED Beauty Balm | I've finally exhausted my baby sample of this amazing stuff. I'm going to review this soon so I won't go into to much as to why I love it, but I need it! I'll live without it for a few more months, but when that lovely coupon comes in, don't hold me back!
  • Benefit's Boxed Blush Powder in Dandelion | How many times has this been on my wish list on this blog? You'd think by now I would have gotten it if I'm still lusting after it! It's a really sweet, pale pink blush that I think would look nice on my pale complexion. I'm also very determined to collect every boxed powder Benefit has because they are amazing!
  • NARS Light Reflecting Setting Powder | I. cannot. begin. to. calmly. explain. why. I. want. this. BUT AGH, this silky dream of a powder feels fantastic all over and it's NARS. I love me some NARS. I'm thinking that in two months time my MAC MSF will finally be out and I can completely justify this!
  • NARS Single Eyeshadow in Mekong | I talk a lot about why I want this eye shadow in another wishlist post which you can check out here. It's a very gorgeous brown that'll be awesome and easy to use to create a simple smokey eye!
  • Beauty Blender | I've always sort of see-sawed back and forth with the thought of getting the Beauty Blender but didn't actually sit down and think "Wow, I'd really love to actually have this" until pretty recently. My foundation has been looking pretty flaky and cakey lately and this is the only thing I've seen and heard of to make that non-existent! At $19 it seems a bit ... expensive, for a sponge, but I've heard it last a good while and actually works, which makes it all the more worth it!
I can't wait until this wish list post transforms into a haul post! I'm thinking this coupon is coming around April (around IMATS, oh boy!) so I'll just have to be patient for a little while longer to get these goodies!

What have you been lusting over lately? No wait, don't tell me ... I'll want it, too! LOL, okay, okay tell me! :)

Current Craves | Jeffrey Campbell Litas

Solestruck Litas
How many of you own a pair of Jeffrey Campbell Litas? Okay, put your hands down. I'm officially jealous! These pups are taking the fashion scene by storm and have been popular for quite some time. They never appealed to me as they just looked absolutely massive! Recently though I've been seeing them on other blogger's fashion posts as well as the 'litas' tag and the way people have been wearing them made me want them! I used to think you needed a certain 'look' to be able to pull these off but I've seen grungy, girly, hipster, etc. outfits/looks and they've pulled these off amazingly! I especially loved them with shorts and a plaid shirt, as well as a cute dress or a skirt! It made me think these would be awesome to have during the spring/summer season to seriously spice up my "look". They're $159 on Solestruck so they're not cheap and I'm really going to think about how often I'll wear them in reality, not just how cute I think they'll look in my head, before I jump the gun and order them! I've heard that they are super comfortable despite their intimidating height. When you think about it, you're only on a 3 inch heel because of the two inch platform, which is still high, but not as high as 5 inches. I'm not sure, still debating...

What do you guys think? Are you craving these? Do you have a pair? How do you like them?

Current Cravings | July Edition

  1. It's in the Flag Hair Clip from ModCloth ($12.99) | For this year's 4th of July I'm feeling extra patriotic to the point that my undies resemble the flag. When I saw this bow clip on ModCloth i just knew that I had to have it because I am a sucker for bows and collect them like no girl should. Maybe I should make a 'Bow Collection' post, haha! Hopefully I can get this before the 4th!
  2. Revlon ColorStay Lacquer (Minted) from Drugstores ($8.99) | Mint. It's a mint polish. I don't have one and this is the closest true to mint color I could find. A lot of other 'mint' named polishes lean a tad teal, and this one looks perfect! Mint is in and I want in!
  3. Sexy Hair Short Sexy Hair Slept In Creme | If you haven't seen yet, I've recently cut my hair sooper short! I'm trying to find different ways to style it because it is very curly and taming it might be a tad hard. I heard this creme creates awesome beachy-messy hair so I'd love to try it out!
  4. Through the Wire Headband in Red from ModCloth ($13.99) | Again, I'd love this to just throw my hair up in the summer time. I think it'd look really cute with my short hair! I also like how this headband looks like cloth but had a wire going through it so it stays in your hair better!
  5. Butter London Lacquer (No More Waitey, Katey and Frilly Knickers) from Ulta ($14.50) | I'm on such a nail polish kick these days and I'm absolutely in lust with the formula of the Butter London polishes. No More Waitey, Katey and Frilly Knickers are two that I want at the moment but that might change when I see some more in person!
  6. Tarte Light's, Camera, Splashes Mascara from Sephora ($19.00) | I have often heard that this particular mascara was named 'the best waterproof mascara'. In the summertime I usually like to wear just mascara and a little eyeliner. Except I'm always the one with raccoon eyes because my make up isn't waterproof. I'd really love to have this in the summer so I don't have to worry about it smudging and budging!

Current Cravings | June Edition

Current Cravings May
  1. Lace Crop Top from TopShop ($28) | First off, right off the bat, who wouldn't want a lacey cropped shirt? I saw this one as I was browsing online and just stopped and stared at it for a whole 5 minutes, zooming in and out. It's such a beautiful shirt that I can see myself wearing in the summer a lot with practically anything. With a flowing skirt if I go out to Central Park, with some shorts to go to the boardwalk and then a long sleeved denim shirt on top when it gets colder. I do mean I'd wear it with practically anything! I'd love to wear this to parties as well. It looks like such a comfortable fabric. I can't wait to go to TopShop and see it!
  2. Ro's Argan Body Conditioner from LUSH Cosmetics ($30) | Rose Jam has to be the most amazing smell to hit my nose since the Twilight scent. It's the most amazing combination of fragrances. You get the rose scent that has a mixed in sweetness to it that will make a rose lover out of anyone! This price for this product is steep, but LUSH never seems to disappoint with softening products. I think this would be the perfect product to use after shaving my legs to make them feel soft, smooth, and smelling incredible!
  3. Dr. Jart++ Waterfuse Beauty Balm from Sephora ($34) | I NEED THIS IN MY LIFE RIGHT NOW. I have heard only supercalifragalistic things about this BB Cream. And if anything bad has been said, well I just don't think I want to hear it. I have a Chanel foundation that I LOVE to use along with a M.A.C. concealer but in the summertime I don't want to cake even that onto my skin. I also heard that the BB Cream improves your skin while leaving a dewey finish, a light concealment, and does what my concealer will do. I MUST HAVE THIS.
  4. Chanel Precision Eye-Definer (Brun Cuivre) from Nordstrom ($29) | I've never been a fan of pencil liners, but I saw a makeup tutorial with a Bobbi Brown eye pencil in Bronze that was apparently a limited edition item and I was devestated. It was such a beautiful brown color! So I went on Temptalia to hopefully find a proper dupe for it because I needed to have the color. Lo an' behold, Brun Cuivre from Chanel fit the description perfectly. I'm gonna wait to test out the color in person before I splurge but I've heard that it is a great liner that doesn't budge or smudge! Also, having another neutral color that's not as harsh as black would be brilliant.
  5. Maybelline 10Hr. Stain Gloss & Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Stains from Drugstores ($6-$10 each depending where you get them) | Lip stains seem to be making quite a forceful comeback into the beauty world and I like what brands have done with them! The Maybelline Stain Gloss has been out for some time and reviews seem to be quite good that I wouldn't mind checking it out in maybe a natural pinky color! The Revlon Just Bitten stains are fairly new to the scene but they remind me of Clinique chubby sticks (which I do not own) but they are much cheaper so I would love to give them a go!
  6. H-Troser Shoe (Cognac) from Steve Madden ($60) | These shoes would be perfect for the summer time! I like to wear skirts a lot and sometimes ballet flats just don't cut it for some outfits! These are the first I found that are a pretty light brown color and a reasonable price! I've been admiring them for a while, so hopefully they'll be on my toes quite soon! :)
What are some of your recent beauty/fashion cravings? Let me know! Might be able to add some more to my list! ;)
