My Discombobulated Finger Decorations

Hey ho, fellow mermaid-ites. (WOT?!) I meant to write up a review post for you all today and some more for the rest of the week featuring my foundation products but I'm just not feeling it! Do you ever have one of those days (or couple of weeks to be honest, haha) when the only thing that seems appealing is laying in bed with Netflix? I've been having that kind of week! So I think I'll just save the foundation posts for next week and instead step away from the make up bits and share some of my favorite jewelry with you all! I'd never been a ring person until college started and now I just can't get enough! I love small, understated, and dainty rings. I want them to catch your eye and add some sass to my fingers without having to be the size of my hand! As of today these are the three rings that I wear on my fingers every single day. I call them my 'discombobulated finger decorations' because 'rings' sounds too boring and discombobulated because I've managed to mix gold, silver, and rose gold across my fingers. Usually I wear silver rings and wouldn't be a fan of having all these different colors on at the same time but somehow these all seem to work. All three are very different, but very me, and I guess that's why they don't draw the wrong kind of attention, like "girl, did you dress your fingers in the dark?!"

The gold ring with the (fake or real? I have no idea) emerald in the center was a ring that was, I think, given to my mom by my dad and then too me. I've had it for a while now but just recently started wearing it more. It goes on the pointer finger of my left hand because there are too many on my right hand, haha. It fits nicely on my ring finger but as I'm not married or engaged I feel strange putting rings, especially this shiny, on that finger. The celtic ring is one that's near and dear to me, so much so that I've bought it twice and it wasn't cheap! After starting college my friend and I went to the Holiday Market in Union Square which had a celtic jewelry booth. We both saw this ring and fell in love that we almost fought to the death for it until the nice lady working the booth said she had one more. In true Cinderella story fashion each ring fit our fingers perfectly and then we parted with *cough* $35 *cough*. I ended up losing mine, SOMEHOW, during last summer. I got very frustrated and wanted to be mad at the world because that was maybe the coolest and nicest (not to mention expensive) ring I purchased. So when the Holiday Market came back again this past winter I scavenged every. single. booth. to find my beloved ring. I couldn't find it, at all, until I went to the waffle booth with my sister and there it was. Hidden away behind waffles and speculoos (delicious graham cracker cookie butter spread, MMM) was the celtic booth and I almost gave the same nice lady a heart attack running over and squaking. I parted with another *cough* $35 *cough* but hey, it's a ring that meant a lot to me! The final ring is a recent buy that's also a knuckle (or midi) ring. I love knuckle rings. There's just something so sassy and badass about them! I feel like I can tackle the world when I have one on. If I have two on, watch out because my confidence will be through the roof. Why, I have no idea!? I found this rose gold ring with a itty bitty heart on it at Brandy Melville. It was $3 which I thought was a steal esp. at Brandy Melville where everything costs an arm and an appendix. It's cute and subtle, which is everything I'd want a ring to be! You'll never catch me without all three or at least one of them on whilst walking out and about!
What's your favorite type of ring? If you're a fan of dainty type rings let me know where you've gotten them! I'd love to have more discombobulated finger decorations!

Arts & Candies Jewelry Review!

Before I begin the review of my recent purchase from Arts & Candies I thought I'd start off by telling you how I found out about her and her awesome jewelry! So Arts & Candies is run by a very lovely woman who creates handmade jewelry (i.e., necklaces, bracelets, rings, keychains and even phone cases!) from polymer clay. She creates chocolates, sweeties, and (the best!!!) LUSH Cosmetics products! I had seen her products circling the Lush-o-sphere on Tumblr and was in awe at the detail and how realistic the little charms looked! I was in a complete LUSH obsession so didn't jump to order it until a little later when the obsession subsided and I knew I would really want it! My friend Julia ordered from Arts & Candies to host a giveaway for her blog and when she showed me the pictures I just about died from awe (and utter jealousy!), caved and placed my order with Arts & Candies.

The picture above is of the keychain I ordered. She has an extensive list of all the LUSH products she can recreate for you. I decided to choose some of my favorites!

My order came in a small box (completely unharmed which was great seeing as how it was sent from the UK). Inside, the keychain was wrapped in pretty pink bubble wrap, and taped with heart tape that I thought was just absolutely cute! To my surprise when I pulled out my keychain something else lied underneath it. She had sent me a Happy Blooming bath melt ring! I hadn't even ordered it! I thought that was absolutely generous of her to do and I love the little pouch it came in (esp. the small star glitters!).
Happy Blooming Ring || How cute is this?!
I was so impressed with the impeccable attention to detail! The labels on the bottles of shower gel were matched to the T. The bath products were created with all their little fixins. Twilight had its stars and moons; Gingerbread House had its sprinkles and small cinnamon stick. Just look at the Dirty Shower Gel! That's crazy! I only wish I had this kind of talent!

To order a custom product from Arts & Candies you have to e-mail the woman directly. E-mailing her was completely pleasant. She kept me updated on my order and the status of when she was creating it. What I loved even more was the picture she sent me after she finished making it! I loved that! It made me that much more excited to receive it! The price for this £ 24.99 (this price includes the shipping!) which is about $38.75 in US dollars. I'm not going to lie, the price was a little steep but after getting my package I have no regrets. There was so much attention to detail and her customer service is amazing. She is prompt with e-mails and is nothing but sweet and pleasant to chat with!

I highly recommend you guys check her out! Everything really is one of a kind. If you're a Lushie, like an amazing limited edition bath bomb, you need this in your collection! You won't regret a cent and I now I will cherish this for a very long time!

Here's the link to her website: Arts & Candies Website
All the information you'll need is there as well as some wonderful creations she's made in the past to ooh & ahh, at!

What would you guys get on your Arts & Candies jewelry?

Thank you so much Arts & Candies! :D
