I'll be honest right off the bat. I only bought this lipstick because Jennifer Lawrence wore it in The Hunger Games during the coronation scene. I even bought the eyeliner she was wearing ... maybe I should do a look on it then, haha! Anyway, on to the lipstick! This is one of M.A.C.'s Pro Longwear lipstick. The formula was created to last a lot longer than their regular formulated lipsticks. Overtime is a blue based pink but it's very subdued and pale.
I really like the formula as it's creamy. The packaging remind me of the Revlon Lip Butters with the slanted and flat shape of the package and product. I don't particularly love it, nor do I particularly dislike it. I like the point some lipsticks come to as it makes it easier for me to be precise with application. This color isn't too bright where application needs to be super precise so I don't mind it. I wouldn't say this formula lasts any longer than their regular lipsticks, but it's long enough. I really do love the color though! It's the perfect nude-y pink for fair toned complexions like mine. I don't necessarily reach for this all the time although looking at the swatch on my lips I don't know why!
Have any of you ever bought a cosmetic product just because a celeb you admire was wearing it? I'm so guilty of this and am hoping you guys will tell me I'm not the only one!
