Review: Caudalie Beauty Elixir

Stop! No! Please don't go any further! I'm so tired of hearing about this blasted thing! I realize, I really do I'm either going to love it or hate it. As is with most things! I don't need 20 bloody bloggers telling me what I really know!

Well, Mr. Pessimistic reader, you! If everyone thought that, you wouldn't have made that many educated assumptions about this product because no one would have written about it! Another review won't kill you to read. (Unless it does, in which case, I am so very, very sorry!) What's my point in writing this review considering you can google it and plenty more will come up!? I wanted to give my two cents on it because I've finally managed to form an un-biased opinion. By now you must know all the technicalities of it all so I'll just jump into what I think and how I use it. First off, unlike most, I love that pepperminty smell. It makes spraying it onto my face seem that much more refreshing and it is just that; super refreshing for the skin! It sinks in quickly and allows my moisturizer to do the same. Now, it doesn't do anything super amazing for my skin, if anything at all, not that I've noticed it! No increase or decrease in acne, although I think the redness in my face has gone done but that might just be my foundation, hehe! Most people say they won't repurchase it because of that fact. Why pay around $48 for 3.4 fl oz of something that literally does nothing! I bought the small one because it was cheaper as a tester (for $18, pshhh). Anywho, my point, unlike most negative reviews I'll say this, I will be purchasing this again. It might seem a little daft but I love the freshness and smell of it all. It may not do anything for my skin, but it does something for my overall morning routine that I just can't imagine finding another product that wakes me up and makes me feel refreshed. Maybe in the long run it will have better benefits for my skin, who knows? Maybe one day I'll find something else? For now, all you need to come away with is that I love this but it does nothing, haha!

What are your opinions on the Caudalie Beauty Elixir? Love it, hate it? I can never hear too many opinions on this product cause there are so many different ones!

  2. Haha I think that is the point. Caudalie came out with a product that has had so many mixed reviews, that all of us beauty junkies are running to the store to see what all the fuss is about.

Brilliant, in my opinion, as they must be making a killing at $18 for a little bottle.

I havent tried it yet, unsure if I should... Thanks for your 2 cents!

    1. Unless you're truly wondering what all the hubbub is about, I would pass it. If you're really curious than I would go ahead and try the small one! Yeah, it's an awful amazing business strategy as I don't find it useful but see myself buying it again and again. :)

  5. Finally someone said it! It does nothing, but still people pay $48 to get a spritz of magic water lol.
If anything, I'd repurchase the Mac Fix+ as it helps set my makeup :) xx
