Ahem, ahem ... is this thing on? It feels odd sitting at the computer once more and blogging. I'm super glad for my crazy, mass picture sprees otherwise I wouldn't be able to put this post up right now! After the Hurricane and finally coming home I got struck with a seriously bad sickness. It was bronchitis, but coupled with a fever and panic attacks it was not a fun time. I'm finally feeling better; everything is falling back into normalcy and I've seriously missed blogging!
Today I bring to you my savior from the past few weeks; Benefit's Erase Paste. I also like to call this make up's answer to the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser! The Erase Paste comes with the concealer/corrector, a little lesson booklet, and a small spatula. The spatula is meant to be there to help scoop out a little product and applying it to the back of your hand. I don't use it all because it's more trouble than it's worth and just use a Sigma concealer brush instead! The lesson booklet is very helpful, although I tend to just apply this all willy nilly as I see fit for my needs.
This stuff is just fantastic. It conceals. It brightens. It corrects. It basically just does what it says it will! I can understand all the hooplah around this product. The consistency is creamy, yet stiff so it's moisturizing for dry skins and not to heavy for oily skin. It spreads and blends like a dream. I used this every day when I didn't have any of my foundations, other concealers, or powders. The name is so fitting because I feel like I'm photoshopping all my little red spots! I love that! It brightens under my eyes to the point where I look in the mirror and say "when did I get a full 8 hours of ZzZz's?!" Definitely, definitely give this concealer a look because it could be the holy grail product you've been searching for! A combination of this and my MAC Studio Finish concealer and I'm always good to go!
What are some of your favorite concealers/correctors? Have you ever tried Erase Paste? What did you think? :)
I have this too & I do like it alot, but I found that it always creased under my eyes even set with a powder. But I still would give a recommendation to anyone for it because it offers great coverage!
ReplyDeletei have this and love it,but i still always reach for my MAC studio finish :) great review you have inspired me to pull it out again!

This product is my life saver. I change out products in my routine all the time to try out different things but this is the only constant. I have smaller size and I've had it for well over a year and it is still a long time away from being over.
