The perks of being a mermaid on a spending ban is that you get to sit on your keister (toocus, bum, arse, what have you) and endlessly salivate at the parade of awesome that brands have put out for you to buy. That's not really a perk, is it? More like, TORTURE. But okay, maybe one perk is that I get to play on Polyvore and get creative by making a lust list! It's no surprise that I'm still lusting after the LORAC Pro Palette. I love the range of colors and that there's a mix of finishes from matte to satin to shimmery. Next on my list are two products from the new beauty line by Marc Jacobs. The first is this gorgeous soft pink blush called Naughty. It's a blush that I look at and think it would look great with my pale skin tone to create a natural flush. Then we have one Marc Jacobs' Highliner Gel Crayon in Intro(Vert). The year of emerald is coming to an end and I've only just discovered this gem (well, it's only just now come out) It's described as a "mermaid green with shimmer" and if you've been here long you'll know it's pretty much checked off all the points in to constitute an "OMG I NEED THIS." Moving on, Stila recently came out with the Magnificent Metals Foil Finish Eye Shadow (what a mouthful) and I was hook, line and sinker the second I saw these in Sephora. I honestly don't know how to describe this product as it's not a pressed powder and it's not exactly a pigment. You also need to mix it with a liquid base to make it work it's magic. I think this would be great for around the holiday's in a champagne gold or just a straight up gold to create festive eyes. I love that they're not messy like a pigment and I can see myself getting so much use out of such a shiny new toy! Last but not least I have Urban Decay's 24/7 Waterproof Liquid Liner in Perversion on my list. My go to liquid liner is slowly becoming enemy #1 because it starts to smudge and bleed if you eye so much as even thinks of sweating. So I'm in need of something waterproof, super black (none of this off, smoky, charcoal black non-sense) and matte (or almost matte) and Perversion seems to fit the bill!
I'm hoping that if I'm a good girl and don't fall to the pressure's of the shopping bug that a Sephora discount will land on my lap after my ban and I can get ALL THE THINGS. Let me dream, yeah? :)
