Cinderella | When The Clock Strikes 12

It's Friday here on The Mod Mermaid and you know what that means! (Yes, I just ripped DailyGrace's intro, haha) I'm back today with the fifth installment of my Disney Princess series! I really hope you guys are enjoying them! I'm thinking of doing some quick tutorials for each look I've done so far and putting them in a playlist on my YouTube channel. I think it'd be great for anyone who maybe wants to dress up like the Princesses for Halloween. If it's something you'd like to see let me know? I truly wasn't expecting so many of you to want me to recreate them, haha! So if this is your first Disney Princess post of mine you are seeing, this series is basically me taking inspiration from a specific Disney Princess each week and creating a makeup look for them. I've done Snow WhiteRapunzelKida, and Belle so far and you can click on each respective princess to see her look! Today's princess is none other than Cinderella! Now I know Snow White was technically the first princess, but Cinderella was mine. She holds a special place in my heart for being the first Disney Princess I've ever come across so I really wanted to do this look some justice! For Cinderella's look I took inspiration from, yup, you guessed it, her famous glass slipper. I went all out with the shimmering shadows, sparkling false lashes (applied quite wonky, apologies,) and rhinestones to mimic the glass. I seriously didn't want to take this makeup off and was so tempted to place a tiara on my head and ballroom dance in my living room, haha. Here's what I used:

On the eyes:
  • NARS Smudgeproof Base Primer
  • Sephora Ariel Storylook Palette Blue Lagoon
  • Sephora Ariel Storylook Palette Your Voice
  • Sephora Ariel Storylook Palette Sick of Swimming
  • Urban Decay Naked Eyeshadow
  • Make Up For Ever 303 Holodiam Powder
  • Rimmel Scadaleyes Eyeliner in Black
  • Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara
  • Ardell Elegant Eyes False Lashes in Romantic
  • Recollections Adhesive Rhinestones
On the face
  • Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation/Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer
  • Rimmel Stay Matte Powder
  • NARS Laguna Bronzer
  • Benefit Hervana Blush
  • Smashbox Softlights in Shimmer
  • Lancome Juicy Tube in Raspberry Ice
Who was your first Disney Princess?
