I ♥ Spring Tag

Hey guys! Hope you're all having a fabulous weekend. I should be starting and finishing a paper for my history class but instead have spent the day watching Spongebob and Ice Age. What a life, right? Because of my school work I haven't really had time to film so that's why no video has gone up recently, but I finally managed to film a video and do the I <3 Spring Tag that a lot of lovely people have been doing! It took me ages to put up this video because I've been trying since 10 pm last night. Tutorial | Smoked Lavender

Hey guys! Happy, happy Sunday! This is strange for me because I usually never post on the weekends but I haven't got work to do (for once) and something exciting to share so I thought, why not? Live dangerously and all that jazz, yeah? Haha! Anywhos, I was thinking of a tutorial to do for my YouTube channel and wanted to do something exciting for spring, but not something bright. So I went straight to a smoky eye but I wanted to make it a bit different and more spring like. Since spring is all about bringing out our 'pops of color' I decided to create a smoky eye with a pop of color. Pretty straightforward thinking, right? This tutorial is what I came up with! I used deep browns to keep the smoky eye from getting to harsh and lavender as my pop of color! I don't know why I've been so drawn to wearing variations of purples this year, but I'm loving it! I'm actually super happy with that way the eyes turned out! I've never been comfortable with smoking out my eye looks but I think I did a pretty good job (if I do say so myself!) Tutorial | Simply Spring

LOL, don't you just love when you work on a glorious eye look that looks so pretty in person and then in photos it looks like you put nothing on your face?! This seems to be the case in the above pictures! 

Today's video is a fun and fresh spring time look! It was finally getting warm outside when I filmed this on Wednesday now cue to Friday and I'm back in my puffy coat! No worries, if spring weather hasn't completely hit a town near you, you can still channel Spring with this look! The colors I used are subtle with a bit of shimmer to add some sheen, coral for the cheeks because, what else do us bloggers wear in the spring?! And then to top it all off and give the look some pop, a vivid fuchsia lipstick! I personally love this look and created it on one of my "lazy" days which means it's super simple to recreate everyday. It doesn't take much time and you don't need an insane amount of products! Also, don't let the lipstick scare you if bright lippies aren't your thing! You can always lightly dab a bright color onto your lips or use a stain so it's much more subtle!

I'm doing it guys, jumping on the bandwagon! This tag has been going around the blogosphere and on YouTube and it's been my absolute favorite to read. Everyone's answers and 50 "facts" are completely different so it makes reading it each time something new and I've really enjoyed it. Valentine's Day Look | Archie's Girls Inspired

Happy Friday, guys! Hope all of you on the eastern side of the States are nice and safe at home! Why do we always seem to get such random, out of the blue weather always? It's insane, and I'm not sure for how much longer we can all keep up!

Earlier today I posted a video on a Valentine's Day look I had created based on the Archie Girls! It's actually a collab I did with Andrea from the blog FromInsideMyCloset. I took inspiration from Betty, and she from Veronica. I don't mean to toot both our horns but I think we did a pretty awesome job! Hey Veronica look is something I could have totally pictured Veronica wearing for make up and I like to think I did a pretty good job with Betty! You'll have to let me know! Besides being inspired from the Archie Girl's, I think this is a very wearable and sweet make up look that you could pretty much get away with wearing for whatever it is you're going to do on Valentine's Day! My entire school schedule is messed up because of one day off we have and now I'm spending all day in school. No Valentine plans for me, but studies, studies, and more studies. I do hope you guys check this look out and let me know what you think! The Sister Tag | Meet Vicky!

Happy Tuesday everyone! This was a requested video ... and by requested I mean my sister, Vicky, begged me to film this with her! I decided to oblige and it ended up being really fun, if not a little nerve wracking for the both of us in the begining! We answer some random questions and share some funny stories with you all. My sister and I are really cuckoo bananas and always act like we're the toddlers on Toddlers & Tiaras hyped up on sugar! We're three years apart but she's a little more mature for her age and I'm a tad immature so we meet nicely in the middle! Suffice to say we don't always get along, but when we do it's a fun time! I'd love if you lovelies watched it. I promise, even thought the video is 12 minutes long, we were being entertaining!

Forbidden Winter | A Tutorial

YouTube really needs to start letting me upload my own thumbnail pictures. I will rejoice the day I am given the permission to do this. With each video upload they get sillier and sillier! First it was funny, now it's just like "this still doesn't even have anything to do with the video, c'mon now!" #rantover

I've been dying to wear my burgundy/plum/vampy lip colors but could never figure out an eye look that would compliment it and now vy for the eye's attention (so to speak). It's still the winter time (although the weather is proving otherwise) and I want to get wear out of it! So I came up with this beauty that I named the Forbidden Winter look! It features neutral browns, frosty highlights, and of course a raspberry-vamp lip! It's subtle and nothing that'll make people do double take's on the street if you wear it out! I wore it today on my trip to the city to get my stitches removed. My dentist said he liked it, haha, so we've got medical approval! It's a very easy look to recreate with similar colors or if you have the Naked 2 palette! Now you have no excuse to not rock the vampy lip!
