This is what I call "Preparing for a Hurricane" ...

Look at all the food! Aha! These are what I consider your "Hurricane Essentials". Everyone has spent all day evacuating and prepping to have everything they to greet Miss Hurricane Sandy. It's supposed to be a doozey! I'm in Zone A which is also known as "Mandatory Evacuation Zone". Yeah ... we haven't evacuated. I'm sitting in my room, eating snacks and waiting for my Peppermint Tea to steep. I ran out of it yesterday and therefore had to run to every grocery store looking for a box of these. No way was I surviving a hurricane without this stuff! I found it at Shop Rite and ran down the aisle singing "We are the champioooons, my frieeeends!" You can say it. I'm a nutter!

I have taken a lot of pictures for posts for these upcoming days. Hopefully I still have power so I can post them, if not, know that I'm sitting by candlelight! I hope everyone going to be or being affected by Hurricane Sandy stays/is safe! Stay inside! Snuggle with a comforter and just hope for the best!

Talk to you all real soon! :)

  5. I don't know what I'd be like if I had a hurricane warning, fortunately for me we never really have extreme weather in the area of England I live in.

    Stay safe!
