Current Craves | Jeffrey Campbell Litas

Solestruck Litas
How many of you own a pair of Jeffrey Campbell Litas? Okay, put your hands down. I'm officially jealous! These pups are taking the fashion scene by storm and have been popular for quite some time. They never appealed to me as they just looked absolutely massive! Recently though I've been seeing them on other blogger's fashion posts as well as the 'litas' tag and the way people have been wearing them made me want them! I used to think you needed a certain 'look' to be able to pull these off but I've seen grungy, girly, hipster, etc. outfits/looks and they've pulled these off amazingly! I especially loved them with shorts and a plaid shirt, as well as a cute dress or a skirt! It made me think these would be awesome to have during the spring/summer season to seriously spice up my "look". They're $159 on Solestruck so they're not cheap and I'm really going to think about how often I'll wear them in reality, not just how cute I think they'll look in my head, before I jump the gun and order them! I've heard that they are super comfortable despite their intimidating height. When you think about it, you're only on a 3 inch heel because of the two inch platform, which is still high, but not as high as 5 inches. I'm not sure, still debating...

What do you guys think? Are you craving these? Do you have a pair? How do you like them?

  1. I WANT LITAS. I have two pairs of night walks and even those are comfortable and they have no heel, so I am for sure assuming these would be super comfortable! I say go for it! As long as you get a neutral color I am sure you will get a lot of wear out of them (Told you I am an enabler!).

    1. (DANG IT, ANDREA!)

I think I'll buy them for myself soon or for my birthday! I sort of, kind of, want them to have to wear for IMATS, haha! And oh man, if a heelless shoe of his is comfortable, I can't imagine how comfy these would be!

  3. They look good on other people but I would never wear those. I can barely walk in any kind of heel. I usually stick to chucks, haha. Not very fashionable I know.

    1. Hey, as long as your comfy! I'm no master of the heel either, but I heard these were comfy so that really intrigued me! :)

  4. They are painfully beautiful, but i have my eye on a pair of KG's at a hefty £160 before the Lita fund can even begin! :( I have heard they are surprisingly comfortable, though...

  7. As an owner of several pairs of Lita Spiked in varying colours and textures, I'll tell you now: the first pair will either make you shrug your shoulders and wonder what all the fuss is about, or make you an addict. I adore mine, especially my black patient leather, which I have worn the shit out of (spikes are crushed, leather is ripped, soles are wearing away). They feel neither masculine nor feminine, just right, in part with the squared toe-box and thin sided feel. They're just wonderful shoes, to be honest, and it's hardly a surprise they're as popular as they are.

My advice to you is to find a store that sells them and ask to try a pair on in your size, strut around a little, get a 'feel' for 'em. If your heart says yes, throw some hard cash down. They're the kind of shoes you want to invest in.
