I'M GETTING MY TEETH YANKED

Wisdom teeth. If we didn't freakin' need them and they serve no purpose why are they in our mouths wreaking havoc?! My wisdom tooth is in cahootes with it's neighboring molar, and by cahootes, I mean they're snuggled up against each other and whilst this is going on it hurts me to pieces! It's early in the morning, I haven't been allowed to eat a single thing since 12 A.M. and am still not allowed to eat anything because I'm getting sedated. Which is fantastic because I do not want to witness the dentist's massive hands digging up my gums like a mini sandbox! Do I sound a bit neurotic? I am a bit nervous. I've never been sedated. I've gotten teeth pulled sure, but ugh, this feels so different, so much more painful! Anyone ever get their wisdom teeth removed? Share your stories and make sure to leave out anything that isn't rainbows and sunshines or I may very well just lose it! Okay, okay ... I've got to go get ready. What's appropriate clothing to wear? Am I allowed to wear make up?! These are things you can't look up on google and it stinks!

On a few different notes ...

1. If you haven't already please go like my new facebook page! It would mean very much to me and you'll be able to see when a new post is up or a new video! click hurr

2. I have also put up one of my camcorders on auction on ebay! It's a Sony, about 3 years old and the quality/condition of it is like new! If you or anyone you know is need of one please let me know or bid on it! I started it at $80 which is not so bad and I think it's only in the US! It needs a new home :) click hurr

3. Yesterday, I played around with my make up to create a look for a tutorial I want to film quite soon! It came out absolutely amazing and I hope I can recreate it on camera some time soon. Maybe in a week or two (sounds like a long time but I need my mouth not to be all swelled up, and I've got work :/) But it's so cool and I really can't wait to share it with you all! I actually like it so much that I got super flirtatious with my camera and took some snaps and put it into this collage. I really like it and needed to share! It's now my sidebar image and facebook image! :)
Wish me luck guys!

    1. Good luck! It's not as painful as everyone says (at least as of right now) but it's super uncomfortable and annoying not being able to eat solid food!

  3. I got my wisdom teeth pulled a few years ago. I was terrified! I've never got any teeth pulled or even had novocaine. MY dentist prescribed me valium to take on the day of the surgery to calm me down. It definitely helped. It definitely wasn't as bad as I had imagined. The sedation happened really fast, and next thing i knew i had tons of cotton in my mouth and I couldn't really feel my mouth. My mouth was quite sore for a couple weeks but the percocet helped. don't worry, it'll be fine!

    1. I didn't even notice when it happened or that it did! It was so strange :/ I was a nervous wreck the 2 hours before and my hands were shaking so much I couldn't even properly sign the release forms hah! Thank you so much for this! I read it afterwards but at least now I know what to expect for the next few weeks :)

  4. It’s normal to get nervous about getting your wisdom tooth pulled. Most of us fear this procedure. But, in most cases, once the wisdom tooth gets pulled out, you’ll be surprised how fast and easy it will be. You won’t feel anything during the surgery because you have anesthetic. You will feel a little bit of pain after the painkiller stops working though. Don’t be nervous; you can do it!

  5. When I had my tooth extracted, the dentist injected anesthetic in my gums and said that after a few minutes it'll feel numb and it did. She started the procedure of removing my tooth using this clamp like thingy. It didn't hurt at all but every time she yanks it, my whole head moves! It was like the one in the cartoons where the doctor puts his legs on the chair and started pulling it out. After that, my tooth never grew back and it was kind of sad.

  6. Honestly, the best part of getting a tooth extraction is when you get to inhale the laughing gas. Haha! I accompanied a friend of mine to her dentist appointment and they made her inhale the gas. On our way home, she started babbling and it was so funny! It's like she was drunk but, without being tipsy or wobbling around. After the gas wore off her system, I told her everything that she said. And to her surprise, she doesn't even remember a thing at all! Haha! [Latarsha Ghoston]
