Disney World Haul

*dances* it may seem a little strange but I'm so excited to type this post because of the things involved and I'm surprised at how photogenic every thing was. If you haven't been keeping up, a few weeks ago I took a teeny tiny vacation to magical place that is Walt Disney World in Florida. You can read about my time at Hollywood Studios here, Magic Kingdom here, and then Islands of Adventure/Universal Studios here. So of course I managed to grab a few goodies for myself whilst I trekked in and out of the shops.

At Downtown Disney is where I found my oh so sought after sequined Minnie Mouse ears at the World of Disney shop (it was heaven, and I want to spend a whole day there!) I've gone to Disney plenty of times but for some reason never had an urge to sport them (probably because I thought they were super expensive, which, some are, haha) but this time, even before we got to the parks, I was all over it. I absolutely love them and loved wearing them all through Magic Kingdom. I couldn't even bear to pack them in fear that they'll get squashed. The materialistic adoration is real here folks. Oh shoot, I actually forgot to include the pins I bought at the parks. Never thought I'd be a person to enjoy a pin but it was way too cute to pass up. You can find a picture of them by clicking here. It's currently attached to my school bag so I can carry the cute every where I go, and explains why I forgot to include them. The pins with Mickey and Minnie kissing were given away as a gift. The last thing I picked up at was a Minnie Mouse shaped, bright pink, pen. I am an absolute sucker for them and usually come away with way more than just one, haha. I'm growing up-dang it.

So what I was really hoping to find at World of Disney were Tsum Tsum's and the Alex and Ani Disney inspired bracelets. I found neither. World of Disney is a HUGE store (no exaggeration) so it may be that I just walked right past them, but I'm not sure if they have them there or not. Tsum Tsum's, for those who don't know what the heck I'm talking about, they are these newly released stackable plush toys that look like your favorite Disney characters (not all of them, unfortunately) and you can get them in size, mini, medium, or large (which is, also, HUGE) Whilst back at Miami, my sister and I actually came across a Disney Store at the marina that had them and we raced to get them.  She cried over the cuteness overload, haha. I got the classic duo, Mickey and Minnie Tsum Tsum's in the mini size and my sister proceeded to get Daisy, Donald, and Pooh. Pooh was meant to be a gift, but she HAD to keep him, haha!

Like said, I couldn't find the Alex and Ani bracelets anywhere. I think I may have saw them at one shop on Main Street in Magic Kingdom but I was so hot, tired, and ready to push my way to a good firework viewing spot that I didn't care to double check (would've save me the *8 shipping though -sad face-) Anyway, I ended up ordering the Cinderella's Castle Alex and Ani Disney bracelet. I was debating on getting the Minnie Mouse one they had with red and silver polka dots, but I think I've got enough Minnie themed things for one year. Plus, I liked the simplicity of just all silver and I've got a much stronger connection to the castle and Magic Kingdom.

Lastly, is a not so Disney themed purchase, but a Harry Potter one. I explained it a little bit in my post on Universal Studios, but we basically had the VIP Express tickets to the parks for the day. They were paper tickets that you show to cut the line of almost every ride. So what people do is carry them on snazzy lanyards with a plastic insert for the ticket. Of course I didn't think to get one before we got on the crazy water drenching rides (more about that in the post, haha) but when we got to Diagon Alley and I saw it in the shop, I knew I had to have the Hufflepuff lanyard. I don't have any Hufflepuff themed items and that's my Hogwarts house, as told to me by Pottermore (#harrypotternerdsforthewin) I had the Gryfindor scarf already, so I didn't want another one. Didn't need a keychain, nor did I need a pin (barely knew what to do with the Disney one!) so the lanyard was the greatest solution. I wore it proud for the rest day and I'll be bringing it back with me, along with the Minnie ears, on my next trip there!
And with that, the Disney World fun concludes. For now, at least ;) I hope you guys enjoyed reading these posts and this little mini haul as well. I'm surprised at the amount of stuff I didn't get, honestly, haha, especially stopping at only two Tsum Tsum's because they are way too adorable not to! But now I want to know...

What are you favorite things to pick up for yourself at the Disney themed parks?
Which ears/headband would you want to get?
How many Tsum Tsum's would you get?
Also, what Harry Potter house are you in?
This nerd needs to know!

So Belated | NYC IMATS 2014 Haul

Your eyes do not deceive you! There is actually a new post up on my blog. Never thought you'd see the day, did you? I'm back. I've missed this- I've missed you guys! Hopefully, you've missed me and all my roundabout ramblings :) That's all I'm going to say about my return because I've discovered that the longer my "I'm back!" shpeals are, the less likely I am to actually have another post up that week. Alright, IMATS! I figured I'd start with this post because who doesn't love a haul? Regardless of the fact that it's about a month and a half over due... A haul is a haul, amiright? I picked up some things this time around that aren't usual to an standard IMATS haul because I've already got so much that it didn't really seem like I needed anything else (but obviously, I did ;) ) So here's what I got:

  • Sigma Brush Cleansing Glove :: This was SUCH a spur of the moment purchase. I've seen this all over the beauty community and probably like you're doing now, I just laughed. Who needs a giant oven mitt to wash their brushes?! UHM, ME, it turns out. I got it in blue (of course) and it's seriously become such a life saver. Seriously, I spend less of my life cleaning brushes now because it does such a brilliant job of thoroughly and quickly, cleaning all my brushes. No regrets here. I'll be writing a review on it soon that'll make you regret laughing!
  • Kryolan Aquacolor Dayglow Palette :: Ah, UV makeup. My obsession of the year that probably spurred from my upcoming trip to Vegas and that one episode of Teen Wolf where everyone is at party and body painted with this stuff. I still haven't had a chance to properly play around with it because I don't yet have a backlight to make the magical effects work, but soon I will! I couldn't believe they had the palette of 6 at IMATS for the amount it would cost to buy the 3 colors I had wanted. Sure, I may not get the most use out of these, but they will be a cherished part of my collection, for sure!
  • Sigma Brushes (E50, E39, F05, x2 E25, x2 E05) :: Sigma were handing out these shopping bags all day that were full of samples (the best being the brush samples!) My mom and sister managed to snag a bunch even though we didn't wait on that long line (my friend waited her whole time at IMATS there!!) Seriously, I don't even mind the shorter handles, I feel like I've gotten two amazing full size brushes with the small E25 blending and E05 liner brushes. The E25 is AMAZING and so incredibly soft. I'm going to write a more in-depth review on the other brushes I got because I feel like since I've been able to use them I can ramble on forever in this post, so stay tuned for that!
  • Lit Cosmetics Glitters in Champagne Wishes, Wonder Woman, and Goober Grape :: Believe it or not, I actually wasn't going to stop by the Lit booth this time around, but, as my luck would have it, that's where Andrea from From Inside My Closet and Coco from The Beauty Milk were when I finally showed up to the show and that's where I met up with them. Their hands (especially Coco's) was covered in glitter and my little mermaid heart just could not resist! I love the colors I got this time, and again, a more in depth review is coming on my whole collection of Lit glitters! Prepare yourselves!
  • Sugarpill Elektrocute Pigment in Supercharged :: I have been obsessed with Sugarpill without every actually having purchased any products from them. The colors and pigmentation and just creativity behind some of the products is enough to make you so proud to find these in your collection. I picked up an Elektrocute pigment on a whim. I was originally going to get the Lumi pigment, but alas, it was sold out. So, having just one product from this brand didn't seem enough to walk away with so I charged up my current obsession with neons and picked up this bright and glittery beauty. Still haven't worked out the kinks (or touched it, really) but it's a pigment unlike I've ever seen before. Bright colors, amazing pay off, and glitter?! I was quite happy with that purchase ;)
  • Sugarpill Pressed Pigment in Tako :: This is the one eyeshadow I have been dying to get my hands on for ages. It's the most pigmented, most matte, and truest white that I ever did see. I've been pulling it out non-stop for highlighting the brow bone and the inner corners of my eyes. It's brilliant and deserves some sort of makeup award for all the amazingness that it is. It's also quite fitting that it's named 'tako' which is my most beloved food to eat, LOL!
  • Eldora Lashes :: Last but not least, lashes! I was going to originally stop by Ardelle and pick up some lashes for "you never know" occasions but I was contacted by Eldora to receive a goody bag full of their lashes! They were generous enough to give me four pairs of a variety of lashes that I can't wait to play around with for makeup looks I want to do for the blog! There's one pair that looks like little daddy long legs feet are attached to the band, haha, which freak me out and make them so cool all at the same time!
So there you (finally) have it! My IMATS haul that seems almost ancient! It was a really great time and I was so happy to get to see Andrea again and meet Coco! I can't wait to see these girls again (well, I saw Andrea at Beauty Con, haha ;) ) If there's anything you'd like to see a more in-depth review on lickety split, let me know and I'll get on it. Hopefully, this shan't be the last you see of me again and I won't be taking another month long hiatus. I forgot about how much fun I have blogging! I'll see you all soon!

Would you guys try a brush cleansing glove shaped after an oven mitt? Do you think you'd be able to resist the amazingness of glitter and UV makeup? Haha, let me know!

Mini Target Haul

The color scheme of this haul was not planned to be festively peppermint-y, in fact, it wasn't planned at all. It just so happened that the items I picked up matched the white and red of the target bag, which in turn, made you think of candy canes. If you've noticed, I haven't gone shopping for make up products in a very long time. I've been trying to be good with my money but I think I went into withdrawal and needed to buy at least something beauty related. So off I went to my most favorite place in the world (after Disney World ... and Chipotle ... and, well you get the idea) Target!

I will normally run fast past the beauty aisle but this I lingered in the hopes that I'd find the one thing I knew I'd want to get if it was in stock and that was the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk. You had to see the NYX stand for yourself because it was absolutely raided. It's always completely raided of every single product so I was so surprised to see it! Milk is a Jumbo Pencil that is most frequently talked about and it's shimmering counter part in Cottage Cheese was just not cutting it! Beyond happy to finally have a solid white base for all my future brightly colored make up looks. After snatching up the Jumbo Pencil my eyes wandered south towards the lip products. I saw the Soft Matte Lip Creams and for some reason my first thought was "GET ONE" So being the obedient little beauty addict that I am I grabbed the brightest color there in Addis Ababa- strange name, great color.

After perusing the NYX section, I felt like I had cured over my withdrawal and was ready to go to the cashiers to make these babies mine, but my friend was no where to be seen, which left me lingering in the beauty section for just 60 seconds longer and that's all I needed to get my mitts on the Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in 109 and convince myself that I needed it. I'd been eyeing that lipstick for the longest time and just wanted to check out the Kate Moss range in general. Something in me finally cracked and I caved to its powers. The last thing in this mini haul, which has turned into a shopping saga, was actually the first thing I picked up on the way to the beauty department and that was the candy cane flavored trio pack of Chapstick. I'd seen it sitting by the cashiers before and don't know why I didn't pick it up then because it's the first thing I cracked open and they are amazing! I love anything peppermint, so these were waaaaaay up my alley. I even shared the candy cane joy with one of my co workers because let's be serious, I would've lost one of these any way. Chapstick has a funny way of going missing, haha!

So there's my mini haul from my little trip to Target. Moral of this haul: Don't leave Jessica unattended in the beauty department because her wallet will get hurt and feel it in the morning!
What are some of your most recent beauty purchases?

LUSH UK Holiday Haul!

It's the mooooost wonderful time of the year! And by that I mean LUSH has finally released their holiday products for 2013! LUSH Holiday products are always so innovative, fun and sparkly! It's the only time I regress to my LUSH obsessed way and want ALL THE THINGS. I know I'm on a spending ban, but I really couldn't resist placing a LUSH order from the UK. I was introduced to LUSH around the holiday season and that's when I really fell in love with the brand! I guess it's a little tradition now every year to just ogle over their holiday products and have a deep lust for them! I only got some of the stuff I was really dying to try for now as these products haven't yet hit the stores in the US, and I didn't want to pay cray-cray shipping. Also, the bottled shower gels are so much cheaper in the UK than in the US so I just had to order a bottle or two of their holiday scents! I've had time to sniff and play with a few so sit back, relax, and have a look at some of the holly jolly goodies I got that you may want to check out!
Santa's Lip Scrub
After being completely smitten with LUSH's Popcorn holiday scrub from last year (seriously, in my review you could practically hear me shouting), I just had to try their new one for this year. The fact that it was supposed to smell like Cola was an added bonus! I have tried it and I have to say I'm not too crazy about it. It's not as gritty as past scrubs I've tried from LUSH and it doesn't actually taste like Cola ): It took me a while but I figured out what it tastes like and that's the Cherry Chapstick- I used to eat it as a kid and the taste is exactly the same, haha! Don't shame me for knowing! It's not awful, and I will be happy to finish it now that it reminds me of my mental childhood, but Popcorn still holds top spots!
Whoosh Temple Balm
So this isn't exactly in LUSH's holiday range, but I was browsing the UK website to see what goodies they offered that weren't offered in the US and stumbled across this gem. It's a temple balm meant to sure headaches that smells like there ever so loved Whoosh shower gelly. It's citrusy and brightening and I love the smell! I get headaches a lot, but for some reason haven't gotten one yet to test this puppy out. Maybe it's that good? Haha!
Ponche 100mL Shower Gel
I missed out on Ponche last year because I actually didn't buy a lot from the holiday range aside from bath products. I also knew my mom was going to get me a big spanking gift box from them so I was surprisingly good. I'm glad it's back again so I can try it! Ponche is tequila and orange infused shower gel that really wakes up your senses. I love the scent and can't wait to use it for some much needed morning showers for 7 AM shifts at work!
Rose Jam 100mL Shower Gel
OH MY GOOD GOLLY GOSH. How do I even begin to describe this beautifully scented shower gel. I may just dedicated an entire post to this gem (capitalized letters and shouting, included) Rose Jam is a scent that LUSH just teases me with becuase it's ALWAYS LIMITED EDITION. It took everything I had to not buy the 500mL or even the 250mL. It's equal parts sweet, sensual, and floral- such an amazing mix. I'm already planning to buy the 250mL bottle when my ban is over (I could never finish 500mL, haha)
Shoot for the Stars Bath Bomb
I let myself try one bath bomb from all the really snazzy looking ones LUSH came out. The ever so enabling Amy from Paint Potted blogged about this guy and it was enough sweet-glittery goodness that I had to try it first! It smells just like the Honey, I Washed the Kids soap or It's Raining Men shower gel, which is one of my favorite scents! It's smells so delicious and I can't wait to throw it in the bath! I'll probably toss the whole thing because I need to see the spectacle that is LUSH, glitter, and bath fizz!
Abombinaball Bath Bomb
Abombinaball got sent to retro this year. He was probably the most underrated bath bomb when I worked for LUSH two holiday's ago. I felt so bad that I went ahead and bought one and fell in love! Look at this guy! Such a cute little abominable snowman face :) He smells deliciously of peppermint and vanilla- which is a great combination of scents! He practically comes to life in the bath because whatever faster fizzing they've got inside him pushes this guy around the tub like he's trying to run away, haha!
Snow Fairy Sparkle Bar
Last, but certainly not least, is the Snow Fairy Sparkle Bar. SPARKLE bar. SPARKLE. I had to have it. I am a big fan of LUSH's glitter massage bars (Glitterbug being my favorite and I HATE THAT IT'S DISCONTINUED) I was so excited to see another bar of glitter! It smells just like the sweetly famous Snow Fairy scent. It melts SO quickly which actually puts me off a bit. I put my finger on the bar and it turns to a puddle, haha! It is gloriously sparkly though (there's a giant chunk of silvery-white glitter inside this little fairy) I love it, and I'll probably buy another when I run out because I can't resist the glitter! Also, just as a heads up, it's a lot smaller than you think it is!

What LUSH holiday goodies are you waiting to try?

Oh, Canadia | Photos & Haul

Hello everyone! Last weekend I went on a little trip to Canada with some of my family in New York to go and visit some family I had there! I had met one part of my family living there once before because they came to visit but there was a whole slew of cousins I didn't know about until I started planning this trip. It was really great to visit and meet everyone and it was also really fun exploring Canada! Aside from the anxiety inducing flights, I had a really fun time! We went to the legislature building and it was so big that my sister, cousins and I actually got lost. My cousin also told me a little fun fact and that was that people celebrate 4/20 on the legislature lawn, completely legally. I don't know why that stuck with me, haha! We didn't do anything touristy so I got to just experience living in Canada. There was a new mall, plaza, or market to visit everyday. I did end up buying some things and filmed a haul video of the stuff I got so if you'd like to see it'll be at the bottom of this post! We spent a day at the lake tubing, and when the boat broke down in the middle of the lake we made some new friends who kindly pulled us to shore. I got to drive a truck in Canada which was terrifying because instead of mph it was kph and I thought I was speeding the whole time! Also, every summer there's a cultural festival called 'Folklrama' and we only got to see the one show, but it was awesome! OH & probably hands down the best part of my trip was getting to visit Tim Hortons. HOW CAN DOUGHNUTS BE THAT TASTY?! Haha, anyway, I thought I'd let you guys see some of the pictures of my trip. Most of them were family pictures because our parents wanted to document the 'meeting of the cousins' but I still got a few good ones to share :)

HUGE Collective Haul | Bath & Body Works, ULTA, Jeffrey Campbell + more!

Guys, I feel like this week you're going to see a lot less reviewing and a lot more video ... -ing from me, haha! I'm not sure it was obvious but I've been trying really hard to make July a month where I post two videos a week and so far it's been going great. I have had my Best In Beauty competition video up every Sunday (and hopefully that continues!) and then a not beauty competition related video sometime during the week. It's been fun and forcing me to think up more video ideas! But anywhooooos, today's video is a HUGE. COLLECTIVE. HAUL. It really is pretty darn big. I've gathered up a hefty amount of things and it's not that I've been excessively shopping, just that this stuff has sort of accumulated in the span of two months and I thought it was about time I shared! It's the perfect blend of bath, beauty, fashion, skincare, books, and sweets! There's really something in there for everyone to enjoy. It's a bit long but it's honestly one of my best spoken videos (if that makes sense? haha) I hope you all enjoy it!

Let me know what you think! :)

P.S. - I've got another haul video coming at you on Friday. I JUST couldn't resist popping into Forever21!

Cherry Popping Haul | Sabon + Origins

That title may be a bit too taboo, even for me. Oh well, it's a lot more eye-catching than the original title which was "Cheeky Mini Haul". Before we get to the haul at hand I must address something that isn't quite obvious (or maybe it is, I need to give you guys a little more credit) and something that took minutes upon minutes of deliberation. Y'know, some people choose to sky dive or backpack across the world to do something out of their comfort zone, but I, instead decide to take my pictures from having 'rounded corners' ... to 'non-rounded corners' *GASP* I know, crazy rebelious, and I'm still a little terrified with all this change but I don't know, let me know what you guys prefer. I'll need to see the finished product before making a final call.

WELL, now that we've got that suspenseful and dramatic introduction out of the way on to some relevant stories. Yesterday my mom and I spent a day in the city just walking around, enjoying the atmosphere and occasionally popping into a shop or two (or maybe three, I lost count) Before we even hit the strip of shops in SoHo we walked into a store called Sabon. Now I've heard of Sabon before. In my days of working at LUSH I'd hiss and howl at this store for being a rip off of LUSH (I feel ridiculous even bringing that up) but the smell wafting out the door enticed me as well as the sand and starfish that decorated their window display. It's really amazing in there and feels 10x more grown up than LUSH (sorry, guys!) It's natural and yet ethereal all at the same time. Price point is about the same but it just looks and feels more luxurious. There was a giant (yes, GIANT) sink in the center of the shop made to look like a well made of rocks and I swear it made the experience of getting a hand treatment that much better. I distinctly remember telling the lovely sales lady that I felt like a Grecian goddess. The products she used on me all felt really lovely and nice but it was my first time in there and I didn't want to go too crazy (okay, I did, but I had some restraint) so I ended up just getting the Mango Kiwi Body Butter. I don't need another body butter but this one felt so smooth and my skin ate it up - plus it smelt like a tropical vacation sans the coconut. I was really happy with my little purchase and even more thrilled when they said that if I got my receipt e-mailed to me I'd get a shower oil for free. Who was I to turn down free shower oil?!

After walking 30 blocks, grabbing some coffee, and having an amazing lunch at Dos Caminos (the guacamole is SERIOUSLY to DIE FOR, not even exaggerating, maybe a bit, nope I'm not) I asked if we could stop at the Origins shop in the Flatiron building. Bravo to me because there was a MAC right next to it and I flew by it. Anyway, so I walk into the Origins shop (my mom firmly plants her toocus in a chair) and I start looking around for the one item on my list which was the Ginzeng Refreshing Eye Cream. I have heard about this eye cream from many bloggers and it seemed like just what I need for my stinkin' poofy under eyes and dark circles! I found it in .5 seconds but that didn't stop the nice man from testing about 5 different creams on my hand. He also didn't hesitate to get my mom in on the ginzeng fun. Somehow he also got me testing a moisturizer that was really good for dry, sensitive, and acne prone skin. When he was talking about it (I really wish I got his name!) I just saw little boxes being checked off on an imaginary list. The Soothing Face Cream sounded like everything I needed! So I grabbed it without seeing the price (it's a doozey :/) We were also going to get my sister the black mask that's supposed to clean out pores but after seeing the price on the cream we were like ehhh ... but he graciously tossed in a HUUUGE amount of samples; two of the Clear Impressions, four Drink-Up masks, and a generous A Perfect World SPF moisturizer. Not only that, but when he found out that my mom was generously buying the eye cream for me and not herself HE THREW IN A FULL SIZE EYE CREAM FOR HER. Same one, same size, same everything. We're still trying to figure out how and if he was allowed to do that, haha!

So it's not much, yet a lot all at the same time! I'd never been in a Sabon shop or Origins shop before in my life and have never tried their products (hence the 'cherry popping') but the excellent customer service in both has me itching to go back and see some more! I really can't wait to try out these new products especially the ginzeng eye cream. Let's see if it lives up to the hype (I sure hope it does!! *fingers crossed*)
Have you guys ever shopped at these stores? What are you favorite products from either? Starting up a wishlist ;)

Collective Haul | Sephora, Bath & Body Works, Bobbi Brown, and Macadamia Natural Oil

Happy, slappy Tuesday, y'all! It's the end of April today if I'm not mistaken! Which to most is a signal of 1/3 of the year coming to a close but to me it means MY BIRTHDAY IS IN 2 DAYS! I know, I know, you're tired of hearing about it. By the end of the week you won't have to hear about it again till next year ... or unless I post a haul of goodies I got, LOL. Speaking of hauls, I have a collective one to share with you all today! I've been shopping a bit here and there for some essentials and not so essentials, haha. Sephora was having their VIB sale at the beginning of the month and I took that as an opportunity to get a full-size Urban Decay Naked Skin BB after loving and squeezing out every last drop from my baby-size sample. Since I ran out of my MAC MSF a while back I figured it was time to try a new setting powder. Originally I was going to go for NARS Light Reflecting Powder but my friend Julia recommended Tarte's Smooth Operator Amazonian Clay Powder, which she said is a great setting powder for drier skin as it has some ingredient that keeps moisture on your face. I don't know, but I was sold and got it! Reviews on both of these are coming to a blog post near you so stay tuned! I also got my Sephora birthday perk which is a mini sample of Benefit's They're Real (love this mascara, and I'm so glad I've never had to purchase it as it always, always comes as a sample somewhere) and a mini Benefit's WattsUp highlighter, which I actually reviewed once and wasn't a big fan of it.

Bobbi Brown was also having a super exciting Friends & Family 20% off sale that my mom took FULL advantage of. Seriously, if Bobbi Brown makes it, my mom 100% wants it, haha! She kindly asked if I'd like anything (no doubt trying to spread the Bobbi Brown joy she is feeling) and I said no until I played with one of their lipglosses in a Sephora one night out. I ended up getting Bobbi Brown's High Shimmer Gloss in Bellini. It's such a gorgeous, everyday lipgloss with hints of silver and gold shimmers. I'm not a lip gloss gal, at all, but this one has virtually no stick to it. It's not goopy and you can barely feel it on your lips which I LOVE.

Then my ever so lovely mother surprised me with some sweet treat from Bath & Body Works after I dropped my *not-so* subtle hints about wanting some new candles. She picked up the Strawberry, Market Peach, and a baby Espresso candles (which btw, makes my entire room smell like a coffee shop!) I, like every other blogger/vlogger, love me some Bath & Body Works candles! They have the best scent throw and some of the most delicious scents I've ever sniffed! I didn't even have the heart to blow out Market Peach whilst taking these photos!

Last, but not least, are my Macadamia Natural Hair goodies that I managed to find in my Stop N' Shop (for cheaper, too!) I've been on the search for some hair products that would make my frizzy, poofy, dry, and curly hair look like I actually managed to do something with the mess. Macadamia products are raved and raved about on the blog-o-sphere and after some recommendations I bit the bullet (have you seen the price?!) and got myself the shampoo and conditioner. Well I THOUGHT I got the conditioner, turns out it's the leave in conditioner, haha! Woopsie. Still testing both of these out and the Leave-In conditioner is actually quite nice so I've decided to keep it. We'll see how I get on with them and then I'll be sure to put up my own review on the ever so hyped hair goods!
What do you lovelies think? Anything here that you've tried? What have you recently hauled?

Haul | #IMATSNYC

As many of you lovely readers know, last weekend I went to this magical event called IMATS. I talk about my experience in this post right here so if you want to see how I liked it (LOVED it) and some snaps from the event itself. Today's post is all about my haul and I have to say it's a pretty impressive and exciting haul; my best one yet! For some reason there was so much more to find at this year's IMATS or maybe I was just more open to trying new brands because I came away with a hefty haul (hefty, hefty, hefty!) With not much else to say, here's what I got from IMATS!
  • INGLOT | I got a two-pan eye shadow palette and two eyeshadows to put in it. The coral/orange shade is 407 and the deep plum/purple is 446. I thought these colors would look really nice together in an eye look for a summer night and if not, they're totally gorgeous on their own!
  • Hakuhodo | I couldn't resist leaving this booth without something. These are the softest brushes that I've ever touched and I'm really happy my mom was generous enough buy me a blush brush (I don't have any, gasp*) and one from Hakuhodo no less! I still don't have the cajones to use it. It's too awesome!
  • Morphe | Funnily enough I didn't get any brushes at Morphe, although I should have because I heard they were seriously cheap. No, I ended up getting make up removing wipes that smell like apricots. Boy, oh boy, they really do smell like apricots! They'll be fun "summer" wipes, haha!
  • Lit Cosmetics | I'm going to curse right now. I lost my shit at this booth. All the glitters were just so overwhelmingly beautiful! I was pretty sure I was only going to get one glitter at this booth but no. I walked away with a Lit Kit (came with two brushes, a huge fan, a duster, and liquid glitter base) and SIX, yes, SIX glitters! I would have walked away with more but I need something to look forward to buying next year, haha! The colors I ended up getting were Margarita, Nightlife, California Soul, Peacock, Cowgirl, and Soul Sister. You can see the colors more clearly in my video below!
  • Jesse's Girl Cosmetics | I really wanted to get nail polishes at this booth to stock my personal collection with colors I didn't already have but I felt guilty after getting a Hakuhodo brush and then SIX glitters. So I ended up getting 3 nail polishes instead of my intended 6. The colors are Mermaids Tale, Oh Em Gee, and Cupcakes & Castles.
  • Hawaiin Moon Aloe | I left this product out of my video because I rambled on and on about it in a way that was un-editable. Basically this is a cream that is 100% aloe that's also paraben free and free of any fancy minerals and oils. It's meant to be used as a hand, body, and face cream to really rejuvenate the skin and get the circulation going. It's amazing stuff and my new moisturizer! I had a severe reaction from a facial I got earlier that week and it managed to clear all my spots in a 48 hours. To say I am impressed would be an understatement! This big bottle is going to last m a very long time!
  • Ardell | The Ardell booth was the scariest of them all but I did manage to get the lashes I wanted. One of the pairs was for my mom, another for my sister and the last two were for me. The ones I chose were a pair called 'Romantic' that has crisscrossed lashes and little dabs of glitter on them (of course) and then this really beautiful pair called, well, 'Beautiful' that had lashes of different sizes (they look like little empire state buildings) and then two sets of three-triangle rhinestones on each corner. I really want to wear these to Disney World because they remind me of Mickey Mouse!
  • Alcone | At the Alcone booth I was hoping to get a Beauty Blender but they were sold out. I ended up just getting a Large Black Z-Palette so my depotted Urban Decay 15th Anniversary shadows finally have somewhere to go (they've been sort of laying around since I depotted them, haha!)

So that's all I got at IMATS NYC this year! I'm really pleased with every single thing I got and that I finally hauled and share with you all because it means I can go play with them now! I'm already looking forward to next year and if next year's haul is half as good as this one I'll be a delighted peach! Reviews of all these products will be coming soon so make sure to stay tuned for those!

Have a great weekend!
