Review: Dr. Jart++ Waterfuse Beauty Balm

Today's featured product is Dr. Jart++ Waterfuse BB Cream. Now, BB Creams have been a very popular alternative to tinted moisturizers this summer. They're supposed to be lightweight and give you a very natural, yet light coverage. Dr. Jart's Waterfuse BB Cream is infused with water (hence, the waterfuse, haha) to give it a more lightweight feel. I've also heard that BB Creams have properties that improve your skin whilst you wear it. I'm not to sure about that those properties and if they work but I really do love this BB Cream! I love how it feels like I'm not wearing anything at all. It has a light coverage but it's enough so that it conceals the dark circles underneath my eyes and hides all the redness on my cheeks. It leaves you with a lovely dewey finish (not oily, think glowing). In the picture below you can see the creamy consistency of the BB Cream and bended out it even covers the eyeshadow stain I have on my hand!
With this BB Cream I can use it when I'm naturally pale or as I get slightly tan in the sun. It seems to sink into my skin quite quickly and adjust to my skin color which I love; it means I don't have to buy two different foundations! I think this is absolutely perfect for summer coverage because it's got that SPF in it and us beauty ladies can never have enough SPF!  It's become a favorite foundation for me, something I once thought I never even had to wear! Super recommends! :)

What are your guys' opinions on BB Creams in general? What are some of your favorites? Do you know of one that might be better?

  1. I personally LOVE my BB Cream. Although, many argue the new drug store ones are not true BB Creams. Oh well. Haha, I use Garnier's BB Cream in light/medium and i love it so much. I find the same thing, that it is so light feeling on my skin and seeps into my skin to match my skin tone after a few minutes. I love it for summer :)
